Environmental Science and Policy in Central and Eastern Europe
Instructors: Jerzy Mikosz, Ph.D. plus several invited lecturers
The course will include 45 lecture or seminar hours. The instructor will administer a final exam plus at least three intermediate exercises such as papers and/or short exams
Ecological Engineering and Sustainable Development
Instructor: Wlodzimierz Wojcik, Ph.D. Professor
The instructor will meet with the students for 45 lecture/discussion/tutorial hours. The instructor will administer a final exam plus at least three intermediate exercises and/or short exams covering fundamental concepts and theories
Environmental Engineering Laboratory
Instructor: Przemyslaw Kulakowski, Ph.D.
The laboratory exercises will engage the student in an additional 45 hours of supervised or independent work and problem sessions involving experience with laboratory methods, computational techniques, and solution of practical problems. Laboratory exercises will include assignment and grading of at least five formal reports on specific assignments. Each exercise will require the student (1) to obtain data in either the laboratory or the field, (2) to document experimental procedures in a laboratory notebook, (3) to record experimental data in the notebook, and (4) to prepare a laboratory report complete with data tables, graphs, and written analysis of the data. Laboratory reports will be graded by the instructor and returned to the student. A technical assistant will be provided to supervise the student's laboratory and field work, and to assist in the analysis of data
Geotechnical Engineering:
Instructor: Monika Gwozdz - Lason, Ph.D.

The History of Polish Art and Architecture:
Instructor: Jacek Czubinski, Ph.D.
The instructor will meet with the students for 30 lecture hours.
